Solidarity Walk and Silent March

Since 2018, the Amsterdam Silent March has crossed the Schaduwkade every year on May 4.

Hundreds of people are walking along to collectively show that Muslims and Jews are not necessarily each other’s enemies, stronger, that they can and want to work together. The first walk went from the Dokwerker to the Al Kabir mosque, on the Weesper side, where everyone was warmly welcomed. A very brief impression of a beautiful rap in the mosque.
The Silent March begins at Waterloo Square and ends at Dam Square where the National Remembrance of the Dead will be attended.
